Dr. Parsa Mohebi, medical director of Parsa Mohebi Hair Restoration, re-establishes patients’ self-image and self-esteem by using the most modern medical and surgical approaches. He and his staff are highly committed to using the most advanced techniques and devices in the field of hair restoration.

Education, ISHRS Fellowship Training Programs, & Board Certifications: 

Dr. Mohebi performed his surgical internship at University of North Dakota, followed by surgical residency at University of New Mexico and York Hospital in Pennsylvania. He then continued his aspirations in surgical research by joining the Department of Surgical Sciences at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he performed several studies on hair growth, growth factors and wound healing. In addition, Dr. Mohebi completed a fellowship in surgical hair restoration at New Hair Institute under Dr. William Rassman. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS) and a Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).

Dr. Mohebi has many innovations and inventions in the field of hair restoration.  He has invented the Laxometer, which is the first device that allows people to measure the laxity of scalp precisely, and he introduced the idea of sequential donor harvesting, which cuts the time that grafts stay out of body.  Dr. Parsa Mohebi is the first Chairman of the FUE Research Committee (FRC) of ISHRS, which was established in 2012 with the goal of increasing the understanding of FUE and improving the quality of FUE transplant procedures.
