Randy M. Dean, MD
Randy M. Dean, M.D. graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh, PA with a B.S. in Biology in 1979. In 1984, he received his M.D. Degree from Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, PA as the President of his 1984 Medical School Class. From 1984 to 1989, he completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Dean began his medical career in General & Vascular Surgery in 1990 as the Vice President of Staff and then the Chief of Surgery at the Chesterfield General Hospital in Cheraw, SC. He then went on to be the Vice Chief of Surgery at the St. Joseph Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL, before becoming the Chief of Surgery at the same hospital.
In 2001, Dr. Dean became affiliated with the world’s leader in hair transplantation- Bosley Medical Group. He has performed hair transplantation at different Bosley surgical offices in North America and now provides coverage in various offices as needed.
Dr. Randy Dean is board-certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration, and has received board certification from the American Board of Surgery in the past. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and is a current member of the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Dean is licensed to practice medicine in the states California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
