Learner Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, you will be able to:
- Evaluate and add to your armamentarium various operative techniques for all aspects of a hair transplant procedure, including donor tissue harvest, closure, dissection, creation of recipient sites, and graft placement so you may determine the optimal treatment plan in providing a patient the best outcome.
- Improve your hair loss consultation skills and better assess patient candidacy for a hair transplant procedure.
- Describe the proven medical therapies to prevent hair loss and to regrow hair, and assess the latest clinical data on possible future non-surgical medical therapies for hair loss.
- Improve your communications with the media to improve the image of hair restoration surgery.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit
The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery designates this educational activity for a maximum of 17.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The IDI will coordinate Italian CME credits for Italian physicians and nurses. The Workshop is accredited by the Italian Ministry of Health to provide continuing medical education for physicians and nurses. The number of credits will be provided at a later date.
